After Honor and Samsung, Huawei is also planning to join the “big battery” trend for its mid-range and flagship phones. The company has once again emerged in leaks for its “7000mAh” cell pack, and it may soon unveil it with a dynamic handset creation.
DigitalChatStation has now revealed that Huawei is working on a 7000mAh or even bigger battery capacity for its mid-range and flagship phones in full swing.
The details hint that the company is currently testing this cell pack with a Kirin 9 series chipset smartphone. However, it didn’t disclose the device’s name at the moment.
Such a leak has been emerging online since last week. The firm unveiled the Nova 14i with a 7000mAh cell. Though it seems to have more such capabilities for future handsets.

Following the leak, netizens began a debate on the latest battery trends these days. One of them said that after the Honor WIN Series running on the 10000mAh cell pack, these seven to eight thousand batteries have no interest among consumers.
Another netizen asked which Huawei device will bring a 7000mAh battery on board. In response, the tipster stated that many mid-to-high-end smartphones coming later this year carry a large 7000mAh battery pack.
However, it’s not for the flagship that is about to debut – the Huawei Pura 90 series. Perhaps, it may debut with a 5500+mAh or a 6000mAh cell. But the details are unclear at present regarding the upcoming top-tier models.
Samsung and Honor are already working on over 10000mAh batteries for smartphones. These range from 12000 to 18000mAh capacities. At such a point, Huawei’s 7000mAh battery phone might appear like small steps. Let it also trigger a new chapter in the company’s growth. Let’s see how good this move will be for Huawei.
