Xiaomi 18 Pro flagship could challenge Huawei’s battery plans

It turns out that Xiaomi 18 Pro could burst Huawei’s new battery dreams this year. The flagship smartphone specs have once again surfaced online, pointing out major upgrades in the battery technology, charging power, and the imaging setup.

DigitalChatStation has revealed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro smartphone will have a compact body this time, featuring a 6.3-inch small screen. Though something that has caught everyone’s attention is its camera and battery parameters.

Xiaomi is in rumors to pack a 7000+mAh battery and dual 200MP lenses inside a 6.3-inch phone. If it’s true, the company will achieve two big goals in one creation.

Firstly, Xiaomi 18 Pro will become the first smartphone featuring a jumbo battery and two 200MP camera sensors. While several brands are trying to adopt a double 200MP imaging system for their devices, Xiaomi is just readying a new concept.

Secondly, packing a 7000mAh battery in a small Xiaomi handset could shatter Huawei’s new battery plans. The Mate phone maker is reportedly working on 7000mAh batteries for its flagship (Mate 90), coming in the second half of this year.

In that case, Xiaomi 18 Pro could be a tough rival for Huawei flagships. It is worth mentioning, though, that Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed any of these specifications yet.

Huawei, Honor, and many other phone vendors are in the news headlines to bring a dual 200MP camera (200MP main camera + 200MP zoom lens) to the market this year. However, rumors reveal unexpected upgrades for the Xiaomi 18 Pro flagship, breaking all kinds of boundaries.

Apart from the camera and battery features, the tipster suggested a top-notch ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, wireless charging, and an IP69 rating.

Now all we have to do is wait for the second half of this year when Xiaomi will release its 2026 flagship and tally the leaked parameters.
