Huawei Mate 80 Fan Edition will seemingly debut on March 23 and here we have got our hands on the chip details of this device. It looks like the company has crafted this handset as a truly “power-packed” creation for its enterprise consumers.
A recent leak revealed the possible official name of the Huawei Mate 80 Fan Edition – Mate 80 Qingyun. Now, another input is shedding light on its chip information.
FixedFocus on Weibo mentioned that the Huawei Mate 80 Fan Edition will likely feature the flagship Kirin 9030 Pro chip. Alongside the cooling fan, the latest mobile chip will boost the performance to a whole new level this time.
Kirin 9030 Pro appeared publicly last year with the Mate 80 series. The OEM has developed the new chipset using an advanced 9-core design as well as a main frequency of 2.75GHz. It is further tagged with a new GPU chip – Maleoon 935.

This is the company’s most powerful smartphone chipset to date. It can offer around 42% of improved performance over the previous-generation smartphones.
Huawei is seemingly bringing this Kirin version to the alleged Mate 80 Fan Edition. Coupled with an active cooling fan technology, the chip will deliver high-end performance, making Mate 80 the most powerful phone in the Huawei family.
Since the cooling fan technology will significantly reduce heat generation, the chip will be able to maintain efficiency throughout the intense operations.
Huawei Mate 80 Fan Edition is still maintaining a mystery regarding its name, specifications, and internal parameters. Although the company may unravel these points on March 23 alongside other products. Stay tuned.
