Here’s good news for Xiaomi users, as the HyperOS 3.1 stable update has started rolling out for global devices. The company has pushed the latest version to the top-tier models in the first phase, but will soon expand it to more compatible handsets.
Xiaomi HyperOS 3.1 is a minor yet significant upgrade. Based on Android 16, the new software version brings enhancements for file sharing and multitasking aspects.
On the greener side, it improves Apple Ecosystem integration with the upgraded HyperConnect. Thus, cross-device file-sharing becomes easier and more seamless.

2. Fluent System Apps: Xiaomi rewrote many system apps in the latest Rust Programming Language. This method improves memory security and makes multitasking loads more fluent than before.
3. iOS-inspired Recent Apps Menu: Users will now get an iOS-style Recent Apps Menu with a new card-swiping gesture.
4. Enhanced Apple Ecosystem: Xiaomi HyperConnect enables users to bridge the gap between Xiaomi’s tablet lineup and the Apple Ecosystem. They get seamless cross-device file sharing and improved workflow continuity.
