Huawei continues to improve its growth in China, selling more units to consumers, and the annual data reveal that the company has surpassed the growth rate of Lenovo.
Market researcher Omdia revealed data for the fourth quarter of 2025 for the PC market. The combined sales figure reached 11.5 million units.
Lenovo comes in first place with 4.6 million units, capturing 40% of market share and 13% year-on-year. Huawei maintained its second position in the tally with 1.3 million units, 11% market share, with a year-on-year growth rate of 16%.
This is more than the top player and reflects Huawei’s growing footprint in the Chinese PC market. Still, Lenovo shipped over 3x the units as Huawei, which is a big shipment record. Besides these two, HP ranked third at 1.2 million units shipped in the fourth quarter with a growth rate that exceeded both Lenovo and Huawei, at 22%.

Overall, China’s PC market is expected to record 6% year-on-year to 42.1 million units in 2025. Lenovo and Huawei are making great progress in the market for both commercial and consumer products. It maintained stable growth in both shipments and market share throughout the year.
Looking ahead, Omdia forecasts that the Chinese PC market could decline in 2026, up to 10% year-on-year to 37.0 million units. The researcher said that the key reason for this decline could be rising prices of key components, specifically the memory price hikes.
The price increases will make consumers think twice before investing in products. However, Huawei is showing quite resilience on this front and is still selling devices at a competitive price.
Moreover, it’s improving technologies and features to attract consumers. That’s not it, its latest MateBook products are enterprise and government compliant, with dedicated solutions, improving its lineup of PC offerings for various customers.
