As noted by FixedFocus, the Huawei Pura X Max inner screen could sport 3000 nits peak brightness, while the cover display panel can support up to 3500 nits.
The tipster further revealed the screen dimensions of the upcoming wide-foldable. The outer screen could measure 5.4 inches, while the main display can be 7.7 inches.
Last year, Huawei surprised everyone by launching the world’s first phone with 8000 nits of maximum brightness – the Mate 80 Pro Max. Honor also introduced a pocket-friendly rival to the iconic Mate competitor – Power 2.
Now, Huawei is seemingly bringing a new challenge to the foldable world. Brands like Samsung still rely on 2600 nits brightness for their clamshell, while the upcoming wide-screen folding phone can take the display to new heights with 3500nits brightness.

In addition, the Chinese tech giant will increase the display durability of the Pura X Max this time. The tipster reveals that the new foldable is using a UTG screen coupled with Carbon Fiber and Polymer material.
Ultra-Thin Glass or UTG is an advanced screen technology that maximizes the durability and reduces crease formation on the screen. It uses flexible glass and high-strength materials to bring a zero-feel crease and enhance folding endurance.
The leak suggests that Huawei has seemingly implemented significant upgrades to the new Pura foldable.
