Huawei has scheduled an extensive global launch event next month, where it will unveil several innovative devices, including the brand-new Nova 15 Max. The smartphone will debut as a rebranded version of the entry-level Enjoy 90 Pro Max.
The company today shared a new video teaser on its global X page, revealing a special smartphone – Huawei Nova 15 Max. A careful look at the device reveals that its Enjoy 90 Pro Max in Dawn Gold color.
Notably, the tech giant hasn’t disclosed the device’s name in the teaser. But based on the previous launches, a few sources speculated that it could be the Nova 15 Max.
It’s not the first time that Huawei is launching its budget-conscious ENJOY smartphones as Nova models in the overseas market. The OEM frequently rebrands the Enjoy series as Nova (mainly with a Y or i suffix) for its global customers.

A major reason behind this strategy is that Huawei sells its budget-friendly Chinese devices to the global markets, targeting young consumers looking for better camera performance and modern design.
Moreover, the term “NOVA” is a more recognized smartphone branding than Huawei Enjoy in the international markets. Hence, it somehow helps Huawei to retain some share in the entry-level global smartphone segment.
Whether the Nova 15 Max will follow the same specifications as the cost-effective Enjoy 90 Pro Max or bring some changes in battery and chipset is worth looking forward to.
