Honor X7e launched with iPhone 17-like look, 7500mAh battery

Honor has launched a new entry-level smartphone named X7e. A quick look at the device’s back could make you think that the Chinese OEM has once again copied Apple, as the new handset appears quite identical to the standard iPhone 17.

Let’s begin the exploration of the Honor X7e specs and features!

Starting with the design, the Honor X7e looks exactly like an iPhone 17 but in different colors – Sunrise Orange and Midnight Black. It has a similar shade camera bump, housing two vertically-arranged rings. HONOR branding lies at the bottom.

The only difference in the iPhone 17 and Honor X7e regarding design is the gap between the imaging sensors and the LED flash placement. Dimensions are as follows:

  • Measurement: 163.9mm x 75.9mm x 8.29mm
  • Weight: LAB-LX1 = 204 grams, LAB-LX2 and LX3 = 207 grams

For the chipset, the company has used a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor coupled with an ARM Mali G52 MC2 graphics processing unit. It pre-installs MagicOS 10.0.

The X7e camera frame has a single 50MP main camera and up to 10x digital zoom. Meanwhile, the front-facing lens is 5MP. It also has a special AI button that is effortless in action. Just press it and opt for the following operations quickly:

  • Check “My Day”

  • Trigger Clean Up
  • Open applications
  • Take a screenshot
  • Turn on the flashlight
  • Access the Calculator App
