Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 users are receiving a major software update packed with HarmonyOS 6.1 features. After completing the rollout on the home turf, the company is now bringing the new iteration to the global market for its smart wearables.
Watch Ultimate 2 global users can identify the new Huawei HarmonyOS 6.1 firmware update with the 6.1.0.330 build version and a software package of 2.44GB.
Not all variants of the Watch Ultimate 2 are getting the latest update for now. But the company will soon push the new version to more eligible wearables globally.
Looking into the changelog, HarmonyOS 6.1 for Watch Ultimate 2 introduces many new changes. From interesting watch faces accompanied by cute, tiny characters with personalization capabilities to Nap Summary and special RAI (Running Ability Index), users get something more useful with the latest update.
Just like the Watch FIT 5 series, the Watch Ultimate 2 gets the Mini-workout feature that will motivate you to move or stretch yourself when finds in the same posture for a long time. The company has also made improvements to the flagship wearable:

- Adds the Sweet Companions watch face, which lets you choose from different characters and personalize its features. Playful animations appear when you tap the watch face, play music, turn on the screen, or charge your device.
- Adds the Dream Star watch face, where you can customize the background and complications.
- Introduces the Nap Summary feature, which tracks your naps and creates a custom summary.
- Allows you to track your running performance so you can control your pace and conserve energy.
- Displays your running route, cycling route, and VO2 max on the Health Insights map on the Assistant TODAY screen in default mode, so you can quickly view this information.
- Adds the Mini Workout feature, which encourages you to exercise in a fun and motivating way during your free time, helping you integrate health into your daily routine. Access them via activity reminders or courses and plans.

- Improves the nightly sleep assessment experience.
- Optimizes the settings for automatic segments and interval reminders for specific workout types to ensure a more consistent user experience.
