It’s June 8, and the Xiaomi 17T series has made its debut in China. It is the company’s first T-tagged smartphone lineup making its way to the home turf alongside various exclusive features over its global siblings. Let’s begin our exploration of this flagship.
Xiaomi 17T Series already stepped onto the global platform last month and has now reached China. While the lineup was exclusively positioned for the overseas markets, it is coming to its home ground this year for the first time.
Redmi K series and the CIVI smartphone lineup of Xiaomi replaced the T-tagged devices in China. But the company is bringing it back with new specs and features.

Standard Xiaomi 17T
The T-tagged vanilla version comes in three colors: Nebula Purple, Black, and Midnight Blue. It features a 6.59-inch 2D flat LTPS OLED screen with ultra-narrow bezels, 120Hz refresh rate, 3500 nits peak brightness, and 3200Hz instant TSR.
It equips the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra mobile processor with a giant 5200 mm². VC cooling. Compared to the global variant with 6500mAh, the Chinese model has a 7000mAh cell pack coupled with 67W wired charging + 50W PPS Protocol + 22.5W reverse wired charging.
For the camera, the device has a 50MP OV50E primary shooter, a 50MP JN5 periscope telephoto, and a 12MP OV13B ultrawide-angle Leica lens. The front side has a 32MP selfie lens.

Xiaomi 17T Pro
The Pro model has a slightly bigger display panel – 6.83-inch LTPS OLED flat screen with 144Hz refresh rate, 3500 nits peak brightness, and 1.29mm thin bezels. It uses a Dimensity 9500 chipset and a 7000mAh battery with 100W + 50W + 22.5W reverse wired charging.
Regarding the camera, Xiaomi 17T Pro uses a 50MP OV50Q main shooter + a 50MP JN5 periscope telephoto + a 12MP OV13B ultrawide-angle Leica camera. The front face sports a 32MP selfie snapper. 5500 mm² VC, Wi-Fi 7 are other features.

Pricing and Availability
Xiaomi 17T has a 12GB + 256GB variant priced at 3299 yuan and a 512GB model with 3799 yuan. The Pro version comes with three RAM + storage options:
- 12GB + 256GB = 4299 yuan
- 12GB + 512GB = 4799 yuan
- 16GB + 512GB = 5099 yuan
