Last year, Huawei ultimately introduced its self-developed HarmonyOS PCs on the stage. From a standard model to the world’s first-ever 18-inch folding computer, the company pre-installed all new MateBooks with HarmonyOS software system.

After the consumer product, Huawei also launched the first HarmonyOS commercial PC – Qingyun HM940. Looks like the Chinese tech maker is now planning to further expand its “self-made OS” computer lineup this year with new creations.

The executive did not disclose any details about the upcoming PC. Though it has given a speculated time to witness the new device. Perhaps we may get more insights into this computer in the coming days.

Zhu also noted that the operating system for the Qingyun HarmonyOS PC is different from that of the consumer-based notebooks. This time, the new OS version will undergo many more modifications to the interface, bringing an easier experience.

Besides, the company will implement a special security chip. The exact purpose of this addition is currently unclear. However, things will soon be out of the mist.
