A new report on the PC shipment market in China for Q1 2026 reveals that Huawei has become one of the fastest-growing notebook brands in its home ground. The company has recorded the highest YoY growth this quarter over its competitors.
Omdia today published its analysis on the Q1 2026 Chinese PC sales market, where Lenovo has topped the listing in terms of sales and market share, but Huawei appeared as the notebook brand with the strongest yearly growth momentum.
Huawei has sold 1.4 million units in the Chinese PC market for the first three months of this year. It achieved 16% of the market share, up from 11% last year in the same period.
But the highlight of this report is Huawei’s annual growth, which is 38%. As per Omdia, the company has collaborated with Xueersi and integrated two major elements into its HarmonyOS-powered tablets – education content and AI learning tools.
Lenovo is the first ranker with 2.8 million shipments and 31% market share. The company has scored a 5% annual growth rate in the first quarter of this year.
Apple stood in third place in the Chinese PC market. It has sold 0.8 million units and captured a 9% share. Although it has slipped by 9% in terms of annual growth.

iSoftStone has shipped 0.7 million units in the Chinese PC market and holds 8% of the market share. But it is seeing a 21% loss in the annual growth. HP has sold 0.6 million units with 7% of the market share, dropping by 1% YoY in the progress rate.
Emma Xu, the senior analyst at Omdia, said:
“Importantly, long-term supply agreements with memory suppliers do not cover all vendors equally. Lower-priority vendors may face both supply shortages and elevated component costs, putting further pressure on device margins, particularly in price-sensitive segments such as kids’ tablets.”
