Honor seemingly has a small model for its Magic 9 flagship phone series and just like other siblings, the mini handset is expected to bring ARRI-based camera features. The latest piece of information reveals what this new model will bring on board.
Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu mentioned that the small flagship phone from the Honor Magic 9 series will bring ARRI-based camera features. The OEM has recently collaborated with a German firm that will supply iconic imaging solutions.
During the MWC26 event, Honor announced its partnership with ARRI – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of motion picture cameras, lighting, and workflow equipment.
The company stated that Honor and ARRI will work under a strategic firm-bond, where the Chinese tech giant will integrate cinematic camera image science directly into its consumer smartphones.
As a result, it will bridge the gap between high-end filmmaking and mobile content creation by bringing cinema-grade visual standards and workflows to everyday users.

Honor earlier announced that ARRI camera solutions + video shooting high-end functionalities will be used for the world’s first ROBOT PHONE. Leaks further mentioned that the company will use it for the upcoming Magic 9 series as well.
Based on the latest information, it seems Honor will not only keep ARRI camera features limited to the standard or high-end models, but also bring it to the rumored small flagship handset.
Other Specifications
Shedding light on other key specs of the compact smartphone, the tipster said that it will be equipped with a 6.4-inch screen. But the company may not name it the “Air” model. It is also testing the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip for enhanced performance.
In addition, the small flagship phone is looking for a 200MP main camera and an 8000mAh battery. Other features could include a 2D face detection, a flat screen panel, and a narrow right corner design for the slim profile.
