Honor ROBOT PHONE will likely debut in August this year, but if you think it will be the only device of its kind, then a new leak suggests the OEM will continue to upgrade the handset in the future. A tipster has got some details on this subject.
Weibo tipster @WangzaiKnowsEverything revealed that Honor will likely continue to upgrade the ROBOT PHONE in the future. It means there can be more generations of this device with crucial enhancements and changes.
The tipster began his post by saying that the world’s first ROBOT PHONE is coming in August this year. Following the leak, some netizens asked if the new device would have any future upgrades. In response, the tipster commented, “Yes”.
ROBOT PHONE’s first appearance was live at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Spain. Later, the Chinese tech giant mentioned that the company will enhance the device before officially releasing it in the market. Hence, its launch may delay till Q3.
The good news is that the delay is because the company is integrating ARRI’s ultimate imaging features and video shooting capabilities into the newly formed handset.
Honor hasn’t confirmed the launch date yet for the ROBOT PHONE. Though the release month is expected to be August. Let’s see if the company brings the phone on time or pushes it back in time.
