Huawei is readying the next software iteration HarmonyOS 7 and at the same time, it is widely rolling out HarmonyOS 6.1 to all devices, including some older phones. The company is bringing the latest version to devices like Nova 12 and Mate 60.
Official details reveal that HarmonyOS 6 has crossed 70 million devices and is inching towards a major milestone – 100 million installations by the end of this year.
The Chinese tech giant has now started sending HarmonyOS 6.1 on a large scale to all its compatible devices, and the list also contains some older Huawei phones.
Mate 60, Nova 12 series, Enjoy 70X, and MatePad Pro 2023 tablets are some of the old Huawei devices that are eligible for HarmonyOS 6.1. If you have these models and haven’t received the new version yet, then wait patiently for the upcoming updates.
Smart Lock 2 Series also counts in the list. Users can look for a manual update installation method. Just visit the Settings app and select Software Update. Now click on Check for Updates. You can check all other eligible devices below.
