It’s July 2026, though Huawei is still rolling out the EMUI June update for some of its top phones. The company is releasing the new security patch to the left-out devices, including flagship models. In case you haven’t received the update yet, wait patiently.
Huawei is sending the June 2026 EMUI update to top-end phones like the Pura 70 series, Pura 80, and the Mate X7 foldable. All these devices are getting the new software version in batches.
Starting with the Pura 70 lineup, the company is pushing the new firmware to these models with the EMUI version 14.2.0.242 and a software package of 320 Megabytes.
Pura 80 series smartphone users can identify the new June 2026 update with the EMUI 15.0.0.172 version and a software package of 347 Megabytes. Mate X7, on the other hand, has a different build number – EMUI 15.0.0.155.
The update changelog for all these models is the same: Integrated security patches released in June 2026 for improved system security and a bug-free experience.

Pura lineup here reminds us that it’s July and Huawei hasn’t released the Pura 90 series globally yet. For comparison, the Pura 70 series stepped into the global market in May 2024. Meanwhile, its successor showed up globally in July 2025.
Huawei hasn’t announced its plan for the Pura 90 series global debut. However, the company might follow last year’s timeline and may soon drop a relevant teaser on this subject.
