Honor has launched a new update progress bar for games with the latest MagicOS version, which reveals the real-time installation or updating process of the gaming app. The feature will soon roll out to all eligible devices via the upcoming software build.
The tech giant announced new “real-time update progress for games” feature on the official Honor MagicOS Weibo page. It’s generally a reminder tool that lets you know the progress of the game update or any new game installation.
A real-time progress bar is perfect for the time when you are busy with some work and can’t keep an eye on the ongoing loading of the particular game application.
Just open the game manager from the side panel and turn on the respective feature. It will automatically notify you when the game is fully loaded, and all you have to do is start playing.
Also known as the “global reminders” for the Game Manager app, the feature supports two major functionalities. Firstly, showing the real-time progress of the update.
Secondly, it displays countdowns of a match. If you want to play a game, but there’s still time for loading, then the latest feature will send a notification based on the timings.

Users will be able to see the progress of the update and countdown on the lock screen, notifications, and in the particular game’s Smart Magic Capsule feature. The company will likely roll out this feature with the upcoming MagicOS software version.
