Huawei Pura 90s series reached the global market this week and it seems the company has already started preparing the next-gen camera flagship. A new leak is here, shedding light on different screen sizes of the Huawei Pura 100 phone lineup.
According to the tipster DigitalChatStation, Huawei is testing two different screen sizes for the Pura 100 series, scheduled for 2027. The first is a 6.6-inch medium-sized display panel, whereas the other is a 6.9-inch large screen.
The tipster mentioned that the company is evaluating flat display panels with a 2.5D glass material. These screens will also support 1.5K resolution and probably a 120Hz refresh rate.
6.6-inch medium-sized display could debut for the standard and the Pura 100 Pro models. Meanwhile, the 6.9-inch screen could show up with the iconic PRO MAX.
Per the leak, the large 6.9-inch screen will be a dual-layer OLED solution. On the other hand, the medium-sized display can use the standard LTPO OLED solution.

For comparison, the Pura 90 Pro features a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED with 1256 x 2760 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 459 PPI. The Pro Max model comes with a 6.9-inch display panel with the classic LTPO OLED technology.
While the screen sizes are the same, the phone maker is seemingly planning to integrate the dual-layer OLED display solution into the Pura smartphones for the first time.
Huawei has used a different strategy for the 2026 Pura smartphones. Instead of an Ultra model, the company has launched a PRO MAX version in the lineup. Moreover, the OEM ditched the Plus variant that has been launching for the past two years.
Perhaps Huawei will continue the same “three model approach” for the 2027 Pura smartphones. Although there can be surprises in terms of design, chip, and camera technologies. More details for this phone may soon debut on the internet.
