Huawei is developing the next software iteration for its devices – HarmonyOS 7.0, and it may release the first closed beta build of this OS version by next month. A new piece of information on this matter reveals the launch timeline of the new beta activity.
A Weibo tipster reported that Huawei will launch the HarmonyOS 7.0 closed beta program next month. It will begin testing the consumer-based version in August.
The company is currently releasing HarmonyOS 7.0 Beta for its developers. It also launched a public recruitment for the Beta 1 developer version for many devices.
While many Huawei mobile phone users have locked their eyes on the second round of the beta recruitment program. Though the tech giant hasn’t revealed any new dates for the upcoming HarmonyOS 7.0 software testing version.
If we go with the leaked timeline, it aligns well with the official details for the stable HarmonyOS 7.0 upgrade rollout. Huawei has announced that it will launch the official version of the new software iteration by this fall, probably with the Mate 90.
Hence, it would be accurate if the company begins the HarmonyOS 7 closed beta testing in August. Just like previous launches, Huawei may open the new software test activity alongside any newly released product.
