Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 tablet’s chip information has appeared before launch as the final hours of drama. The large-screen device will be official in a few moments, though a constant buzz surrounding its specs has already dropped new insights.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 tablet will launch today at China’s New Product Event. It comes in the flagship tablet lineup with a refined design philosophy that retains the premiumness, ditching the heavyweight feel.

MatePad Pro 2026 has a model number DAL-W00. It is the same tablet that rumored as the small “Pro Max” version and recently made its way to the 3C certification database. However, its chip info remained a secret at that time.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus has now revealed that the Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 tablet will feature the Kirin T93 chip. It debuted with the company’s first PRO MAX tablet as an octa-core processor and is quite identical to the 9030 Pro mobile SoC.
The T93 chipset core configuration isn’t clear, but in terms of performance, it can deliver a 45% boost in system efficiency when operated with HarmonyOS.
Further, the tipster said the upcoming flagship tablet will mark Huawei’s first time aligning with Apple’s “dual-size” iPad Pro strategy. The iPhone maker used to launch two Pro tablet models every year with different sizes – 11-inch and 13-inch.
This particular move enables tablet lovers to purchase the device according to their portability choice or workspace size and prevent dealing with power problems.
Under this strategy, the only difference between the two tablets is the size. The rest of the parameters like top-tier performance, chipset, and internal specs remain almost identical.
Looks like Huawei has followed the same strategy for the flagship tablet line. But whether the internal specifications of the new MatePad Pro remain the same as the PRO MAX one will become clear in the coming hours. Stay tuned.
