Unlike the high-end Magic 8 siblings, the Lite Edition is slightly different in design. The appearance is more similar to the Chinese X70 smartphone, with a void in the center and a wider external ring, housing camera sensors.

It shows two lens openings, including a 108MP OIS camera and an LED flash. The back is covered with a plain leather panel, while the edges have a golden rim throughout the smartphone. Now, let’s look into the key parameters of the device.

Specifications:

Magic 8 Lite features a 6.79-inch OLED screen with a 1200 x 2640 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate as well as 3840Hz PWM dimming. Though it supports 6000 nits maximum brightness, just like other Magic 8 models.

In terms of internal parameters, the Honor Magic 8 Lite uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and two different storage options: 256GB and 512GB.

Honor Magic 8 Lite comes out of the box with Android 15-based MagicOS 9 software system. Despite the launch of new versions – MagicOS 10 and the Android 16 OS, the company chose to keep the phone on an old iteration for the time being.

Speaking of the camera, the Magic 8 Lite has a 108MP primary snapper and a 5MP ultrawide shooter. The front face has a single punch hole design with a 16MP selfie cam. Users will get some iconic shots with several ultimate shooting modes.

The highlight is the 7500mAh battery. That’s even bigger than the Magic 8 Pro (7200mAh). It supports 66W wired charging and keeps your device alive irrespective of intensive gaming or long video-watching moments.

Don’t worry about the device’s body as the Magic 8 Lite has qualified for IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings. Honor even said that the phone can withstand a drop from a 2.5-meter height on a marble surface.

While the pricing details are missing from the frame, Honor said to make the Magic 8 Lite available in Europe by January 2026. You can hit the Notify Me tab HERE.
