Huawei FreeClip 2 launched globally with a big shift in design

After the Mate X7, Huawei has launched the FreeClip 2 globally with a quite major design shift. Following the successful outcomes of the past-generation audio wearable, the company has tried a new appearance to fit the trends in the market.

Design is the main highlight of the Huawei FreeClip 2 earbuds, which are now available globally. Instead of the regular oval shape like the previous-gen model, the new device comes with a box-like case and a streamlined C-bridge look.

The device doesn’t come with major changes over the Chinese variant. It has the same measurement and parameters as the sibling launched. It has three elegant shades: Denim Blue, Feather White, and Modern Black.

  • Earphone: 25.4 mm × 26.7 mm × 18.8 mm and weighs 5.1 grams
  • Charging Box: 50.0 mm × 49.6 mm × 25.0 mm and weighs 37.8 grams

Huawei FreeClip 2 supports multi-point gesture touch control, such as tapping the listening ball, C-bridge handle, or comfort bead, to operate certain tasks accordingly.

It has a double-tap gesture to play/pause the music or answer/hang up the call. One can tap three times to jump to the next song or slide to adjust the volume.

Audio technology counts Call Noise Reduction, Adaptive Volume Control, and Multiple EQ sound effects. FreeClip 2 equips the 3rd-gen Kirin A3 chip coupled with an NPU AI processor that boasts computing power 10x over the predecessor.

Huawei has also implemented a dual-engine unit that delivers amazing energy despite its small size. As a result, the loudness increases by 100% and the low-frequency power by 100%.

FreeClip 2 reduces head movement tracking latency by 40%, allowing the sound to follow your movements and making listening to music and watching movies feel cinematic.

Celia AI ensures to answer your calls when you’re unable to take them. It smartly processes long messages and simplifies alerts like ride-hailing services, flight schedules, and more. Features like face-to-face translation, head movement gestures for remote control, and location positioning are part of FreeClip 2.
