Huawei Mate 80 series sales in China hit 1 million in just 18 days! The tremendous response led the latest flagships to become the fastest-selling Mate phones ever. The lineup has even outsold the Mate 70 smartphones by a margin of 115%.
Mate 80 series debuted last month with four models. This time, the firm has tried a “new name” strategy with the Mate 80 Pro Max to gain more traction in the market.
Right after the availability of the Mate 80 models in the market, the new lineup has seen a drastic hike in its sales. In the past few days, we have come across several headlines pointing out the strong demand for the Mate 80 phones.
In the latest edition, another tipster mentioned that the Huawei Mate 80 series sales have reached the 1 million mark within 18 days, which is no less than a surprise!
Besides, the standard Mate 80 smartphone accounts for the highest in sales. It holds around 76% of the entire Mate 80 shipment, due to its pocket-friendly price.

Other top-end models together hold 24% in the sales. Apart from the cost rate of these variants, another reason why they hold the least in the sale is the tight supply chain problems. Mate 80 Pro Max and RS are still out of stock.
If the production volume of these models was in full capacity, they might have seen a dynamic sales growth as well. Huawei has suggested shipping the high-end variants in January. Perhaps things may improve starting next month.
Huawei Mate 80 series comes on the ground with excellent features. It now has a powerful Kirin chip, around 20GB RAM, five robust imaging sensors, and enhanced communication technologies to deal with all kinds of scenarios.
It would be worth seeing how this sales segment moves as we enter 2026.
