Huawei Nova 15 Ultra comes with a master-level lossless audio tech that crushes iPhone 17 Pro Max by a huge margin. The device has not only got good hands over imaging and the chip segment but also comes with an enhanced sound experience.
During the Nova 15 Ultra launch, Huawei revealed that the smartphone is capable of achieving master-level lossless audio transmission. It is the first Nova handset to support 4.6Gbps sound transmission rate for an amazing sound quality.
The company compared the newly launched sub-flagship with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. When paired with AirPods 4, the top-end iPhone delivers an audio transmission rate of 320Kbps.
On the other hand, the all-new Huawei Nova 15 Ultra provides 4.6Mbps audio transmission rate when connected with the flagship FreeBuds Pro 5 headphones.
Comparatively, Nova 15 Ultra offers a 14 times faster audio transmission rate over Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max. One can say that it has mastered the lossless audio quality.

A higher audio transmission rate enables lossless compression of the audio data, preserving the subtle nuances and full dynamic range of the original audio.
Thus, users get richer, clearer, and more detailed sound quality, which is quite close to any original recording. And Huawei phones + earphones have this benefit.
Notably, the credit also goes to FreeBuds Pro 5, which has a Kirin A3 chip and a NearLink Audio E2.0 technology. The audio wearable also complies with the L2HC 5.0 codec protocol.
Both Huawei Nova 15 Ultra and the FreeBuds Pro 5 together offer a pure, immersive, and cinematic-like sound experience without any compromise with the sound quality.
