Xiaomi 17 Ultra has become a headline-grabbing device for its ultimate features, but it looks like Honor is already up to challenge this hype with its next flagship! After the WIN Series, the company is all set to level up the premium smartphone market competition with its new-gen RSR handset.
Yes, we’re talking about the Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design flagship that will likely debut next year, challenging the crazy buzz of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra phones.
Honor Magic 8 RSR is in the making. While the device was in the rumors to show up this month just like its predecessor, the company pushed back the launch time.
Although we may not have to wait much to witness the new Magic 8 RSR phone in the market. Inputs suggest that the device will release before the Spring Festival.
Chinese Spring Festival will fall on February 17th next year. Thus, we can expect the official unveiling of the Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design in the upcoming months. But will it really bring challenging upgrades against Xiaomi 17 Ultra?

The company is enhancing the imaging technologies of the new-gen RSR Porsche Edition. Last year, the Magic 7 RSR defeated the Mate 70 Pro+ zoom camera with brilliant traits. No doubt, more impressive upgrades are on the way.
According to the current details, consumers will see two new colors this time: Slate Ash Gray and MoonStone. It might bring a marble-like effect on the back panel while maintaining the same Porsche sports-car layout.
On the other hand, it may follow the same battery capacity as the Magic 8 Pro sibling – a 7200mAh cell pack with 120W power-packed charging. It is also testing a 24GB RAM variant with dual 3D biometric security features.

But what’s worth looking forward to is the imaging features that are still behind the doors. Whether the Magic 8 RSR’s camera technologies will really defeat the Xiaomi 17 Ultra would be interesting to see in the future.
