Huawei Mate 80 GTS is in the news for bringing the most anticipated fan upgrade with it, and now we have a “speculative” image that shows how the company could implement the new cooling technology inside the rumored GTS smartphone.
Remember the cooling fan smartphone patent by Huawei? It revealed a large bump with a layered composition for an active cooling fan setup and internal air ducts.
But a new image is here showing what the actual cooling fan addition will look like in the Huawei Mate 80 GTS. And it’s somewhat similar to the Honor WIN model.
DirectorShiGuan shared an unofficial (probably AI-generated) picture of the Mate 80 GTS with a tiny cooling fan at the center of the giant circular camera ring.

Mate 80 smartphones feature a round and wide ring-like camera bump with a void in the middle. Well, the latest image has used the vacant inner circle space to fit a micro cooling fan technology.
It further shows the thin wings of the fan with a small dot in the middle. Perhaps the cooling fan will reflect the true meaning of the “GTS” model in the Mate 80 family. It’ll reshape the camera look, giving a stunning contrast to the main version.
Note that the position of the cooling fan is still uncertain. This is not a real image and doesn’t confirm the existence of the cooling fan for the Mate 80 GTS as well.
Yet, the tipster hinted that the new smartphone will debut with a turbo fan to accelerate the power and efficiency of the chip performance and reduce the overall heating during high-end gameplay or other intense workloads.
The tipster also mentioned a 7000+mAh battery and some exclusive gaming features for the Mate 80 GTS. But an official confirmation still awaits this matter.
