Xiaomi 17 Pro smartphones are now receiving a new feature named Movie Calendar wallpaper for the Magic Screen. Users will be able to watch film scenes right through the back of the device, especially at times when they can’t use the full display.
The firm has officially announced the Douban Movie Calendar wallpaper feature for the Xiaomi 17 Pro to enhance the overall visual and display experience for users.
Douban Movie Calendar wallpaper refers to digital images that replicate the daily entries of the popular physical Douban Movie Desk Calendar. It enables you to digitally access the calendar’s daily content without buying the main product.
Besides, one can automatically update their home screen with the current day’s movie information and image. Though the case is different for the Xiaomi 17 Pro.
The company has introduced a daily selection of movies from Douban that will auto-update monthly. It is further paired with classic dialogues, as shown in the image.
Douban Movie Calendar: We recommend a highly-rated film or TV series from Douban every day, leaving a unique cinematic imprint on your daily life.
Note that this feature is rolling out to Xiaomi 17 Pro phones with the new HyperOS 3.0.40.0 software version. You can access it by going to Settings and selecting the Enjoy Magic Screen section. Now tap on the Back Screen Personalization option and enable the Fun Wallpapers feature.
