Huawei’s heart failure risk assessment feature reaches Watch GT 6 Pro


Huawei is now expanding one of its most innovative health features to the Watch GT 6 Pro, allowing users to assess heart failure risk. In January, the company first rolled out this unique capability for the Watch Ultimate 2 smartwatch.

The Watch GT 6 Pro model sits on top of the lineup with a strong design featuring sapphire glass and aerospace-grade titanium alloy.

The watch features a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen featuring 3000 nits of max brightness. These specs enables bright and clear view of the interface. One of the key strengths of the watch is its long battery, which lasts up to 2 weeks with typical use and 21 days with max saving.

The lineup was the first to run HarmonyOS 6 out of the box, and it offers unique watch faces as well as health features. Adding new health metrics will improve the health insights and provide a new user experience.

This new upgrade for the Watch GT 6 series comes with HarmonyOS version 6.0.0.188. It comes with a coronary heart failure risk assessment feature. User need to join the coronary heart failure campaign through the Huawei Innovation Research app on the user’s device.

It will use vital health data under different conditions during the day and night. After 3 to 4 days, the user can view the coronary heart failure risk assessment result. You should know that the feature is currently limited to the Chinese model.

Besides this health assessment feature, the update also brings new settings to silent message notifications and smart reminders. The watch’s remote camera control feature is now expanding to more Android phones.

Moreover, Watch GT 6 Pro users will now see optimized accuracy of swimming distance in open water. The display and system stability will also get a boost after this rollout.
