A new report on the internet reveals that Huawei has entered the top five ranking of the 2025 entry-level phone sales. Meanwhile, Vivo is leading the category with the highest market share and shipment units – thanks to its Y and iQOO Z series.
RDObservation has dropped the pie chart of the 2025 entry-level phone sales on Weibo, where the top five tech brands are Vivo, iQOO, Xiaomi, Honor, and Huawei.
Entry-level phone ranges from 0 to 2000 yuan in the price segment. Vivo accounts 22% in this smartphone category, ranking first. It owns around 16.8% of sales in the budget-friendly market due to its innovative Y and iQOO Z series devices.
Here, the Y series focuses on the stable quality and performance, while the Z series by iQOO brings cost-effectiveness with surprising battery + charging specs.
iQOO, on the other hand, contributed 5.2% in the cost-effective handset sales. Both the company and its sub-brand have been relying on the offline channels.
Xiaomi has ranked second, thanks to its REDMI family that continued to attract consumers with its design and price. It accounts for 21.1% share in the market.

Honor is in the third position with 19.9% of the market share. The firm has gained a lot of attention for its X70 smartphone that debuted with the biggest battery – 8300mAh pack.
Huawei appeared in the fourth spot with a 6.2% of market share. And all credit goes to the 2025 Enjoy series that launched with satellite features for the first time!
The company holds the top position in the premium smartphone market, as all its launches in H2 2025 made a hit! Particularly, the Mate 80 series that broke many smartphone sales records in just a couple of months!
