MagicOS 10-powered smartphone users will soon get lock screen widgets for specific system applications. While the initial app support could be limited, the company is reportedly working on expanding the support to more, probably third-party applications.
Honor MagicOS 10 has already introduced several useful features for its device users, but it looks like the company is planning some more changes for its software, particularly for the lock screen.
RuigePlayDigital on Weibo noted that Honor will soon introduce new lock screen widgets for the MagicOS 10 smartphones. It may further integrate fresh layouts for the home screen widgets, making the overall UI look rich and more convenient.
The tipster shared an image, showing that the MagicOS 10 upgrade will introduce lock screen widgets for a few system apps at the early stage. The app list counts Calendar, Weather, Clock, and the Health App.

As a result, users will be able to check scheduled meetings, weather before leaving, time, and certain health features right from the lock screen. This will eventually save their time by avoiding several steps or unlocking the device for specific tasks.
Note that the leak hasn’t revealed the launch timeline of the lock screen widgets feature for MagicOS devices. However, we may find the new add-on by the end of this month.
In addition, Honor is preparing to optimize animations and blur effects of the user interface, update lock screen pull-down and Control Center with enhancements, and more. Let’s see when these features will be available for MagicOS 10 device users.
