Huawei Pura 90 series continues to make buzz in the market for its top-of-the-line imaging setup, but one thing that has become a big discussion these days is its design. The real question is – will the company adopt a new appearance for the 2026 flagship?
The Huawei Pura 90 series design topic began swirling on the internet with the arrival of several new renders. As per many tipsters, Huawei will finally change the look of the third-gen Pura models this year.
Instead of a triangular camera setup, the company was expected to use an iPhone 17 Pro-inspired lens bar on the back and arrange the sensors in the same triangle layout. Though, will it really look good? Check below:
Many renders showcased a wide iPhone 17 Pro-like camera bar for the Pura 90 series. Of course, there’s no doubt that Apple’s iPhone 17 models have really changed the “smartphone camera layout” perspective for Chinese brands in 2025.
Xiaomi 17 Pro models, Honor 500 series, and the Power 2 phones are the perfect examples of how Apple’s one simple upgrade became a favorite for almost everyone.
A glimpse of this approach is also visible in the Nova 15 series. But yes, the company beautifully altered things by continuing the signature two-camera rings on the back.
Since Huawei adopted new design changes for the Mate and Nova series last year, a similar approach was expected for the 2026 Pura phones. But here comes the twist! The company may not bring any change to its Pura phones.
Weibo tipster @SuperDimensional suggested that the Pura 90 series will continue its iconic camera bump instead of the Apple-style framework. Now that could be really good news for all those Huawei fans who like the unique triangular setup.
So, would you like to see a triangular camera bump on the Pura 90 series back or an Apple-like design approach? Let us know in the comments section.
