Apple iPhone 18 Pro series is already creating buzz online for its specs. While early inputs of these new handsets raised hopes that the company would use some new upgrades this time, a new leak suggests that the upcoming lineup may disappoint you in certain aspects.
New information is coming from the Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation. According to him, the Apple iPhone 18 Pro models could reuse some previous-generation specs instead of equipping new parts.
The tipster revealed that, as per the supply chain, the iPhone 18 Pro series may retain the same screen and the massive design of the smart Dynamic Island.
For comparison, the iPhone 17 Pro equips a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen with ProMotion technology. In case you have been expecting a large display panel, the iPhone 18 Pro might disappoint you!
However, Apple fans will find a new chipset called A20 Pro in the upcoming top-tier models. Besides, the company will add a 5000+mAh battery to these devices. The company is also planning to use a large aperture in the imaging setup.

Just like Samsung, Apple is also planning to adopt variable aperture with the iPhone 18 Pro series. The respective imaging tech will enable physical adjustment of the lens aperture, improving depth of field + low light performance.
While Huawei has been the only champion of this technology to date, Samsung and Apple are considering joining the race with their top-notch creations.
