Looks like Honor Power 2 has taken a design inspiration from its rivals – Apple and Xiaomi smartphones. The biggest battery device will go official next week, and its impressive look on the internet reminds us of a fusion that is worth attention.
Starting with Apple, iPhone 17 Pro models debuted with an unexpected design upgrade. It introduced a wider camera bump on the back running from left to right end on the upper part with the same triangular lens arrangement.
On the other hand, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has a similar layout on the back but with a Magic Screen twist. A brick-like frame houses two medium-sized lens rings on the rear display, while the LED flash appears below this module.

Honor Power 2 has a “same same but different” design strategy that hints at a fusion of the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. It seems the company has taken the triangular lens arrangement from Apple’s flagship and the giant rectangular camera bump from Xiaomi’s top-end model.

Since Honor doesn’t offer a rear screen, it has used a grille-like thin lines and engraved the phone’s name “Power” in cursive italic font right above the LED flash.
Another difference is a giant camera ring, which could be the telephoto sensor. But a recent listing suggested that the device will feature a dual-camera setup.

Thus, the exact function of this ring is currently unclear. Perhaps it could be a showpiece on the bump or a real camera lens for perfect pictures and macro shots.
Looking at the Power 2 design carefully, it appears the company has just replicated the 1:1 layout from both Apple and Xiaomi’s high-end 2025 models.
