Huawei is bringing some new improvements for the Watch 5 global users in terms of AppGallery and Flashlight. The company is rolling out a fresh update for the flagship wearable, bringing significant additions and useful enhancements.
Watch 5 is the first wearable to bring the XTAP technology. Seeing the glory of this wrist gadget, the company has recently added a new color variant – Ice Blue to it.
The phone maker has unveiled the Blue Watch 5 in its home ground. But it may soon bring this color variant to its global consumers. Meanwhile, let’s check the update.
According to the changelog, Huawei Watch 5 is receiving AppGallery and Flashlight improvements via HarmonyOS 5.1.0.217 version and a 531 MB software package.
Huawei has enhanced the flashlight brightness this time. Users can easily increase the brightness by raising their hand in the air, keeping the watch dial towards their face. It is a significant addition for those who often travel at night.
Further, the OEM has added an automatic app update over Wi-Fi option in the AppGallery. Now you don’t have to look for different ways or check on wearable apps constantly to update them. Just turn on this feature and stay worry-free.
You can check the complete changelog points below and install the new smartwatch firmware as soon as it hits the notification panel of your smartphone.
