HarmonyOS 5 and 6 software versions have now reached a new milestone with 50 million installations. The company announced this major news at the Enjoy 90 series launch event, revealing its achievements in the hardware and software fields.
Just a couple of weeks ago, the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business, He Gang announced that HarmonyOS 5 and 6 surpassed 47 million devices and aim for the 50 million installations mark.
Now the chief executive has revealed that the latest HarmonyOS versions have reached 50 million device users with an exciting range of features and AI capabilities.
Interestingly, the company is currently adding 150,000 devices daily to its HarmonyOS ecosystem, including phones, tablets, wearables, smart home appliances, and PCs.
At the same time, the company has launched over 350,000 native apps and services for its customers, with a 20% improvement in Net Promoter Score, compared to the previous software versions. The new OS builds are really progressing well.

The company’s self-made HarmonyOS has now entered the large-scale growth phase. While iOS and Android have been ruling the phone market for years, Huawei has stepped into this competition to break the duopoly with its self-made OS.
HarmonyOS has dynamic collaboration capabilities compared to Android and iOS. Features like seamless app operations, cross-device connection, tap-to-share function, and more are said to be way better than the rival operating systems.
Thanking everyone for supporting HarmonyOS, Huawei said:
“With HarmonyOS 5 and #HarmonyOS6# The number of devices exceeded 50 million! Thank you to every Hongmeng partner for your trust and companionship. Every choice you make is a boost for the HarmonyOS ecosystem to thrive. Let’s continue to walk together in the future.”
