Huawei has recently hosted the 2026 HarmonyOS Connect event where it drew the spotlight on more advanced Celia AI features coming for its devices in the future. It further shed light on the latest developments and strategic solutions for its growth.
Initially, the company revealed how Huawei expanded the HarmonyOS Smart Selection unit. It has now become a smart device ecosystem based on an in-house OS.
For 2026, the HarmonyOS Smart Selection aims to work on three core aspects: Scenario-based, Series-based, and family-based to provide users with the best services.
The company further stated that HarmonyOS will continue to expand its ideas and bring more advanced Celia AI features to devices. The self-made operating system adheres to openness, efficiency, and innovation. But this year, it will push these ideologies to their best versions.

Detailing its plan, Huawei said HarmonyOS targets an improved user experience for all of its products. Thus, it will integrate more enhanced Celia AI LLM capabilities, leveraging its strengths in communication fields, network, and other scenarios.
At present, the HarmonyOS Connect family has over 3200 ecosystem partners, more than 8300 SKUs, and over 860 million devices. These figures will surely increase in the future.
Huawei added:
