Honor has adopted an outstanding strategy to accelerate its growth in the phone sales market – the use of a 10000mAh battery. A new report says that the company’s recently released devices in the market are doing great in the sales department.
DigitalChatStation revealed that Honor is generating good revenue in the phone sales market due to the 10000mAh battery move. Devices like the WIN series and Power 2 are selling just beyond expectations.
The tipster added that Honor phones have inspired many brands to use a higher-density battery in their devices. Tech vendors like Redmi and Realme, and more are following suit and equipping a 10000mAh batteries in their handsets.
Seeding a 10000mAh cell pack in pocket-friendly models is the best idea, as consumers mostly look for such devices these days that don’t raise battery concerns, especially during intense operations like watching movies or playing games.
Following the fruitful results of two 10000mAh phones in the market, the company is now up with another 10000mAh handset – X80. The device will also probably feature a 6.81-inch LTPS screen, a right-angle mid-frame, and a flat screen.
The X80 phone may use a new-gen Snapdragon 6 chipset with a price tag of 1000 yuan. At the same time, the tipster predicted seeing a large flat screen panel with the Magic 9 series with a battery exceeding 9000mAh capacity.
Well, that says Honor will continue to refine its “battery strategy” this year with the upcoming flagships and even entry-level smartphones. Perhaps more brands will also follow this trend in the time ahead, including Huawei and Xiaomi.
