Apple iPhone Foldable will launch later this year, and before that, brands like Honor have started commenting on it. In the latest edition, the Magic phone maker has stated that the US firm might be facing many challenges in making its new product.
Fang Fei, the President of the Honor Product Line, commented on the first-ever Apple iPhone Foldable, suggesting that foldable is not as easy as an Air device.
It requires a lot of attention in every aspect – from slimness to its battery life. Besides, one has to ensure that the screen experience remains stable without compromising the prime specifications of the folding phone.
The executive said:
“Frankly, the challenges that folding screens have to face are far more difficult than Air. How can you have both thinness and battery life? Can the inside screen experience be stable for a long time? Can structural reliability stand up to repeated verification? These problems cannot be avoided.”
Besides, the chief mentioned that instead of going for trade-offs and some other tricks, brands should educate users on real product recognition. It should be more about sufficient and strong product capabilities instead of making money.
Speaking about the Magic V6, Fang said that Honor has released five V foldable phones and every model has achieved its ultimate success at their lifespan.
Fang added that when users wanted the foldable phone to be as thin as a flat plate, the company re-customized its device from scratch. When users urged for a long battery life, the tech giant increased the silicon content for safety and durability.
“Brands should not educate users to choose, but use strong enough product power to win recognition from consumers. Every penny a user should spend on an experience that exceeds expectations, rather than paying for an unreasonable premium.”
The chief stated that Honor Magic V6 will bring breakthroughs in many aspects apart from slimness. Though these additions remain a suspense for the time being.
