Honor could be on the verge of a significant shift in its foldable family by potentially replacing the Magic Vs lineup with a new, wider alternative. A Weibo tipster mentioned that the company has interesting plans for its fold lineup this year.
WangzaiKnowsEverything today shared some insights on the Honor fold department. He said the company doesn’t have major plans for its small foldable lineup in 2026.
That means the tech giant may not upgrade its Magic V Flip line in 2026. Although the tipster adds that there will be a new, wider foldable in the product line this time.
Further, the tipster mentioned that this wider foldable will likely replace the Honor Magic Vs lineup. And that seems an obligatory change in the Magic foldable line.

Honor Magic Vs history:
Magic Vs made its debut in late 2022 for home-ground consumers and then stepped into the global market by early 2023. The company gave a glimpse of the device at the MWC23 event, expanding the availability of the device by May.
The device was an epitome of lighter design and stronger battery life. It appeared as a robust competitor for Samsung and other foldable makers in the premium foldable market with beautiful colors and top-notch features.
Honor launched the Magic Vs3 in July 2024 with a unique camera bump style. Since then, Honor hasn’t upgraded this lineup with any new model. Perhaps the company didn’t take this move as it might have different plans on this matter.
Coming to the new creation, the leak doesn’t reveal the design, specs, or launch timeline of the mysterious wider foldable smartphone. Though it says that the upcoming model could have a similar price range as the Magic Vs device.
It would be interesting to see what exactly the replacement of the Honor Magic Vs will bring to the table in the future.
