Honor has already launched two devices with a 10000mAh battery pack, but it looks like the company has one more phone in the same group – the X80 handset. The OEM has started working on another X-tagged phone with interesting specs.
DigitalChatStation revealed that Honor X80 phone is in the works with a bigger battery than its predecessor. The device may go official, packing a 10000mAh cell.
That’s a sharp jump over the previous-generation model, which still has an 8300mAh battery. It was the first phone in 2025 to feature this big cell capacity.
Notably, Honor launched two 10000mAh phones within the past month. The first is WIN Series, holding a 10000mAh cell pack, while the other is the Power 2, which comes with a 10080mAh battery capacity, higher than all types of phones.
Perhaps the OEM is now preparing another 10000mAh battery phone with some more interesting technologies for the first half of this year. The tipster says the new X80 device will bring a 6.81-inch LTPS display with a large-angle flat panel.
Besides, it will pack a Snapdragon 7 series chipset. Even though it’s a low-power processor, it will deliver a significant performance boost over the X70 smartphone.
Regarding the price, the device will show up in the 1000 yuan category. In that case, it will likely defeat all its (same-level) challengers with its top-class specs and features.
Apart from the X80 smartphone, the tipster revealed a surprising point. It said that many phone makers are now working on 10000mAh or even bigger battery creations for 2026. Thus, Honor will soon get some tough competitors in this race.
Till then, the highest battery phone maker is Honor, while others will join this race using a 9000mAh cell pack.
