Honor Magic 8 Mini is expected to debut soon as the device is now up for its blind reservations. The company hasn’t officially announced any such news yet. But one of the official retail stores declared the pre-order activity for the Mini phone.
The information is coming straight from one of the offline Honor stores in Chengdu. The specific shop shared news on social media, calling out consumers to join the Honor Magic 8 Mini reservations.
It has even mentioned that the new “Mini” smartphone is in the pipeline and will soon be released in the market with a cute compact design and impressive features.
Blind reservations or blind booking is a pre-order activity, but with a new twist. It enables customers to place an order for the upcoming device (before its official release) by paying a deposit without having any official info about that product.
Such practices mostly happen in offline stores, like at an unofficial retail store or an authorized third-party store in China. After the launch, those who have made the blind booking will get special benefits like priority shipment, discounts, and more.
According to the details, the store has also shared a poster showing the front design of the Magic 8 Mini phone (probably). It’s the same as the standard Magic 8 model with thin edges and a small center punch-hole cutout for the selfie sensor.
It further hints that the Magic 8 Mini will feature the Dimensity 9500 chipset. One can expect a flagship-level performance boost with the small smartphone.
Note that Honor is currently busy with the Power 2 smartphone. Hence, it won’t release the Magic 8 Mini anytime soon. Though we can expect to see it on the launch stage by the end of January 2026.
