Honor Magic 8 and 8 Pro smartphones are elite in many aspects, but the latest report shows that these handsets have ranked first in terms of best communication performance for 2025. Both models win an award for this ultimate title!
China Telecom has recently shared a Device Insight Report that shows both – the standard and Honor Magic 8 Pro phones achieved the first spot in the best communication performance ranking.
The institution announced certain suggestions to improve smartphone communication. For instance, enhanced carrier aggregation, high-order modulation capabilities, optimized uplink and downlink + overall latency performance with 5GA.
According to the listing, the Honor Magic 8 Pro is tagged as one of the best phones in the 5000 yuan category. Meanwhile, the standard version gained first place in four major categories for the 3500 to 5000 yuan phone group:
- Communication Performance
- 5G Performance
- Wi-Fi Performance
- GNSS Performance
Magic 8 series smartphones use top-end communication technologies. Honor seeds its custom-developed Hongyan six-wing antenna, fused with five communication chips.
One of these chips is the self-developed radio frequency enhancement chip that improves the signal strength by 108%. These phones also run on AI Cloud Map technology that allows smarter signal prediction to reduce stuttering by 40%.
Honor Magic 8 communication performance is touching new heights day by day. It would be worth seeing if it can compete with Huawei 5A Speed-powered phones and defeat them in the future.
