Honor Magic 8 Pro has already surpassed the iPhone 17 Pro Max in the nightography but in the latest edition, the Chinese OEM showed how its major opponent loses the low-light zoom challenge against its beautiful and robust flagship!
An incredible low-light zoom battle between Honor Magic 8 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max revealed shocking results. It’s an even bigger test than the heighted shots:
The Chinese phone maker tested the Honor Magic 8 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max at the Night Safari. During the test, he turned on the Night Mode Auto function in the Magic 8 Pro and regular night mode on Apple’s flagship handset.
In the night safari, the photographers captured the wildlife in extremely low light, challenging the Magic 8 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max cameras with darkness.
Certain settings were made related to wide aperture, high ISO, and fast shutter, alongside some flash lights that avoid bright flashes to not disturb animals, and yet balance illumination.
Speaking of the results, iPhone 17 Pro Max captured the night safari with its 8x zoom capability, and the Magic 8 Pro used its 10x zoom camera for the best shot.
Magic 8 Pro has really outmuscled the Apple device in clarity, color accuracy, sharp details, and natural tones of animals. Despite a significant distance, Honor’s top-end smartphone photographed clearer, sharper, and brighter images.
