The wait is over, and Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design is now finally official! The company introduced its restyled sports car-inspired creation in full glory, showcasing its top-end features, armor-like body, and mighty specifications like never before.
Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design can be considered the eldest member of the Magic 8 family, for now at least. The device is 8.45mm thick and weighs around 239 grams.
Although the highlight of this phone is its reshaped camera bump. If you have been looking for a makeover of the traditional hexagonal lens bump design on the Magic RSR models, then Honor has ended this wait for you!
Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche goes official with a rounded square camera module on the back. Unlike dark shades, the device has two elegant color schemes this time: Moonstone and Slate Ash Gray.
Body Structure: Honor has used an ultrafine crystal nano ceramin back cover for the Magic 8 RSR, coupled with an aluminum alloy metal + middle frame.

These components not only strengthen the device against external risk factors but also ensure a smooth, sleek design and all-time comfort in your hands. Moreover, the company has crafted the device, the Magic 8 RSR, with microcrystalline nano-ceramic, shaping it like a Porsche 911 sports car’s head.
Display: Honor has equipped a 6.71-inch full-depth curved screen to the Magic 8 RSR with 6000 nits peak brightness and AI Oasis Eye Protection Screen.
Magic 8 RSR packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with 16GB/24GB RAM and 512GB/1TB storage variants. It further holds a big 7200mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless fast charging.

Honor Magic 8 RSR debuts with a triple camera setup including a 50MP 1/1.3-inch + f/1.6 + OIS main camera, a 50MP ultrawide-angle f/2.0 lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto 1/1.4-inch, f/2.6, OIS, 3.7x optical zoom, and 100x digital zoom.
On the front face, the flagship supports a 50MP selfie snapper and the 3D deep-sensing camera that will enable users to unlock the handset via face verification.
Well, Magic 8 RSR has three major imaging upgrades:
- Honor’s self-made AiMAGE color engine
- RSR Professional Camera Kit
- CIPA 6.5 Anti-shake feature for main camera and periscope lens
The first one ensures that the device captures full, vibrant shots, offering richer colors and brighter details. Meanwhile, the Professional Camera Kit makes the phone a true DSLR. It has a 200mm telephoto teleconverter that shoots the distant object more clearly, without compromising light or details of the image.

CIPA 6.5 anti-shake feature makes sure that the image capturing remains sharp and clear, even when the subject is in motion. The company said that Magic 8 Pro will also support the same capability in the future.
Other features of the Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design include a self-developed RF enhancement chip C1+, a self-developed energy efficiency enhancement chip E2, an AI off-focus eye protection chipset, and second-gen Honor satellite communication.
