Magic 9 series is the upcoming flagship phone in the Honor territory that aims to feature upgraded display specs. The major change in these screen parameters will be the “size” alongside the adoption of flat display panels, just like Huawei smartphones.
SmartPikachu has now shed more light on the display specs of the Honor Magic 9 series. The latest information hints that we’re on the right track in the screen aspects.
The tipster mentioned that the Honor Magic 9 series flagship will use two types of screens: a small panel with 6.4 inches and a large display with nearly 6.9 inches.
Earlier, a tipster suggested somewhat the same display sizes for the Magic 9 series phones. The standard variant could go for the small one, while the Pro version will use the 6.9-inch screen. That’s an interesting shift over the previous-gen handsets.

Both display panels will be flat instead of a curvy appearance. However, the tech giant may not completely abandon curved screens and use them with high-end variants like the rumored “Ultra” or “PRO MAX” models.

Apart from the display changes, the latest leak reveals no further details on the upcoming flagship. Though it implies that the company is focusing on offering a viewing experience that is both compact and cinematic via its new phones to users.
Magic 9 models are in the news for bringing major changes in terms of the imaging setup and battery capacity. The OEM will likely use ARRI-made sensors for its new top-tier lineup with epic cell technologies. But these plans will be unveiled in the future.
