Honor Magic V6 has started making a mark in the leaks and the current one adds more insights to the upcoming foldable, particularly in terms of battery. The flagship model will likely break the foldable battery record this time against every rival!
Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation has got some really interesting points about the Honor Magic V6, primarily on the battery part and the chipset performance.
The leaker mentioned that Magic V6 could debut with a “7K-level” battery pack. This cell will be thinner and lighter than the previous generation foldable handset.
For comparison, the Magic V5 foldable has a 6100mAh silicon-carbon cell with 15% of silicon-carbon to boost the overall energy of the battery with 66W + 50W charging.
Besides, the tipster highlighted that the next-gen Honor Magic book-type foldable will likely be the largest battery folding phone in 2026, defeating many opponents.
Coming to the chipset, the leak hints that Honor could continue using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor this year as well. The twist can be its self-developed AI components that will boost performance compared to any other same-chip phone.

Honor Magic V6 is also in rumors to adopt a new 200MP camera against the Galaxy Z Fold models. As per some previous leaks, the company is testing a 200MP sensor for both the main camera and the periscope lens.
Perhaps there is a chance that the new Magic foldable may debut as a dual 200MP camera fold device in the market. The company hasn’t revealed any special details about the upcoming folding smartphone yet. Though it may soon share some innovative traits of this model.
