After the first official look at the Honor Magic V6, leaks are emerging on the internet revealing the display tech, camera features, and other prime parameters of the foldable. Though what caught our eyes is the bezels around the screen panel.
Weibo tipster @WangzaiKnowsEverything has explored the Honor Magic V6 and found that the device has thinner bezels than ever before – thanks to the display tech.
The tipster reveals that Honor has used the UTG display for the Magic V6 foldable. The screen technology is popular for its durability and slimness in the industry.
UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) is a special flexible display panel. It is a perfect fusion of durability and flexibility, with traits like the scratch resistance of glass. It enables smaller yet more robust and clear folding displays rather than the plastic ones.

According to the tipster, Honor Magic V6 is using the UTG tech for the inner screen of the device, ensuring durable folding. It makes the bezels and back edges narrower than the previous-gen model (which doesn’t have the UTG tech).
Meanwhile, the outer screen probably has a custom flat display. It also features slim bezels around the display, giving more space to the content viewing experience.
The tipster has further shared the images of the Magic V6, describing the design of the foldable. He said the new creation has a flowy pattern at the back, resembling the running horse’s hair.
Honor has already teased the Red Velvet color scheme of the Magic V6. It can be the main color, reflecting the Year of the Horse, luck, prosperity, and premiumness.
Magic V6 has a lot to showcase, and we have to wait till 1st March to gain more details about the foldable.
