Honor Magic V6 has not only obtained goodness in terms of inner display, but there is also something special about its cover screen. As the foldable is approaching its official launch date, more leaks are revealing its specs and surprising technologies.
Tipster PandaBald noted that the Honor Magic V6 foldable could go official with a special AR film-oriented cover screen, eliminating mirror-like reflection while working.
While the previous-gen foldable – Magic V5 also supports an anti-glare cover screen, it is explicitly debuted as a high-end AR coating. But the case could be different with the upcoming folding phone.
AR film or anti-reflection film is a unique, superior coating applied to the screen of phones, laptops, and even smart TVs. It aims to reduce surface reflections and glare, improve visibility, as well as image contrast on the display panel.

Note that there’s a difference between AR Film and Anti-Glare film. The former uses optical interference to reduce reflections while keeping the screen looking sharp and clear. The latter has a matte finish that scatters light and might result in a haze look.
Thus, we can expect an impressive viewing experience on the Magic V6’s cover screen compared to its predecessor. The tipster stated that this new addition will further enhance the frames and the flat screen, making them narrower.
Moreover, the tipster revealed three major upgrades of the Honor Magic V6. The first one is two battery variants: 6850mAh and 7150mAh packs. Another is that the inner display will use UTG technology to enhance the durability of the device.
Honor has started teasing the new-gen Magic foldable on its official social media channels. Get ready to witness what new changes the device will bring to the table on March 1.
