Honor will present a stunning smartphone creation at the MWC26 event named ROBOT PHONE, but what if we say the device already has a challenging “detachable camera” rival ahead of its official unveiling! Yes, it’s Ulefone RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro.
Ulefone is a Chinese company known for its durable, rugged smartphones and tablets for use in extreme environments. These devices are shockproof, waterproof, as well as dustproof with special military standard certifications.
In the latest edition, Ulefone will launch the world’s first smartphone with a detachable + usable rear camera at the MWC26, challenging Honor ROBOT PHONE as a new rival.
As the description says, the device has an advanced camera that can easily come out of its original place. Simply put, users can remove the imaging system from the smartphone’s body and use it separately as per their needs and convenience.
The company has reportedly used the Insta360 Go design concept to form the new creation. One can further attach the camera to their helmets to shoot POV videos.
While the internal specs appear similar to a regular smartphone, the lens module is just amazing. Inputs suggest the RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro will use a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen panel, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution.
The phone will also bring a 9000mAh super-big battery pack with robust performance. Meanwhile, the camera bump seems to have a single 50MP rear sensor coupled with optical image stabilization. The price details are a secret at present.
Ulefone has not revealed how this new device will work regarding the removal of the camera from the back. Though it may shed light on this topic at MWC 2026.
