Honor is seeing a big success in the 2025 global smartphone sales race for the first time in history. The company has surpassed top foreign brands like Apple and Samsung in terms of growth rate, following its super iconic creation launches worldwide.
The Chinese phone maker has introduced several interesting devices last year. And those products helped the company to hold the highest growth rate among all!
Omida has recently shared its global smartphone sales market analysis for 2025, where Honor is leading the ground in terms of annual progress. The firm witnessed an 11% rise in shipments, phasing out every major global brand in the market.
The win has mainly become possible due to the launches in the second half of 2025. High-profile devices like the Honor Magic V5 foldable and the Magic 8 Pro phones changed the game for the company in the global market ranking.
Interestingly, Honor is the only brand among the Chinese phone makers to record a positive + strong growth in the global market for 2025. Brands like OPPO and Xiaomi fell by 3% and 2% respectively, while Vivo made a modest increase.
Honor saw a 65% revenue increment in the first quarter of last year due to its impressive expansion of the premium products in the global market. Its ALPHA PROGRAM also helped the company to gain attention outside China, over Samsung/Apple.
From Huawei’s shadow to becoming an independent powerhouse, Honor has faced several challenges in the smartphone segment, but it didn’t give up at any point.
The company has specifically focused on the European market with its top foldable phones, pushing back Samsung many times. It also announced a major evolution in the AI field with its phones, tablets, and other products.
All these points together helped the company stand firmly in the overseas segment. Now Honor is once again ready to take over the global phone world with its ROBOT PHONE and Magic V6, coming at the MWC 2026 event.
